Returns & Exchanges

At Foldscoot, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.  we are here to help if things don't go as planned.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at  service@foldscoot.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label and detailed instructions. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Modify or Cancel Your Order

Before Shipment: Any order cancellation before shipment will incur a 10% processing fee.

In Transit: We cannot change the color or size once the scooter is in transit. Refusing a package due to a change of mind will be treated as a return. You will be responsible for shipping costs both ways plus a 20% restocking fee.

Cancellation Method: All cancellations must be submitted via email to our service department. Phone cancellations are not accepted.

Damages, Issues, and DOA (Dead on Arrival)

Please inspect your order upon reception.

Defective/Damaged/Wrong Item: Contact us at  service@foldscoot.com within 3 days of delivery.

Evidence Required: Please provide clear photos of the outer packaging, shipping labels, and the specific issue with the product.

Our Solutions: We will resend missing accessories for free, provide replacement parts, or issue a full refund/exchange for incorrect items sent by our error.

Customer Returns (Non-Quality Issues)

For returns that are not due to product defects, the following terms apply:

The product must be like-new and free from dirt, dust, or fragrances.

Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

Shipping Costs: You are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Non-Returnable Items

Products delivered for more than 14 days.

Used products, batteries, special orders, sale items, and gifted orders.

Accessories that have been opened or show signs of use.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status.

Approval: Approved refunds are processed automatically to your original payment method (including Affirm, Klarna, or Afterpay).

Timeline: Please allow 5 business days after we receive the item for the inspection and refund trigger.

Bank Processing: If you haven’t received a refund after 2 days of approval, please check your bank account again and contact your credit card company/bank.

Discount Codes: If a discount code was used, the full value of the discount will be subtracted from the refund amount.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
