FoldScoot stands behind the quality of its products. This Limited Warranty explains the warranty coverage available for eligible FoldScoot products purchased directly from foldscoot.com.
This warranty is separate from our Returns & Exchanges Policy. The return period for eligible change-of-mind returns is 14 calendar days after delivery. This warranty applies to eligible manufacturing defects discovered during the warranty period.

2. Warranty Period
Eligible FoldScoot mobility scooters are covered by a one-year limited warranty beginning on the date the product is delivered to the original purchaser.
The warranty applies only to products purchased directly from foldscoot.com, unless FoldScoot confirms otherwise in writing.
A replacement product or replacement part does not restart the original warranty period. A repaired or replaced part will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from the date of replacement, whichever is longer.
3. Who Is Covered
This warranty applies to the original retail purchaser of the product.
Proof of purchase, such as a valid FoldScoot order number, may be required before a warranty claim can be approved.
The warranty is not transferable unless applicable law requires otherwise.
4. What Is Covered
During the warranty period, FoldScoot will provide warranty support for defects in materials or workmanship that occur under normal personal use and in accordance with the product manual.
Eligible covered components may include:
-
Scooter frame and structural components
-
Motor and drive system
-
Electronic controller
-
Display and operating controls
-
Wiring and electrical components
-
Battery and battery management system
-
Charger
-
Folding and locking mechanisms
-
Factory-installed mechanical components
Battery coverage applies to manufacturing defects. Gradual reduction in battery capacity caused by normal use, age, charging cycles, temperature, or storage conditions is not considered a manufacturing defect.
All warranty claims are subject to inspection, technical assessment, and confirmation by FoldScoot.
5. Warranty Remedies
When FoldScoot confirms that a product has a defect covered by this warranty, FoldScoot may, at its discretion and as permitted by applicable law:
-
Provide troubleshooting or adjustment instructions;
-
Send an eligible replacement part;
-
Repair the affected component;
-
Replace the product with the same model or a comparable model; or
-
Provide another remedy required by applicable consumer law.
Replacement products or parts may be new or professionally refurbished and will provide functionality equivalent to the original component.
If the original product or component is no longer available, FoldScoot may provide a comparable replacement with similar specifications and value.
6. Shipping for Approved Warranty Claims
For an approved warranty claim, FoldScoot will provide instructions explaining the appropriate resolution and whether a part or complete product must be returned.
FoldScoot will cover reasonable standard shipping costs for approved replacement parts and authorized warranty returns within the product’s original country of delivery.
The following costs are not covered unless required by applicable law:
-
Expedited shipping requested by the customer
-
International freight forwarding
-
Shipping to a country different from the original delivery country
-
